Form 8-B — The Bureau — Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated August 2026
1. What the Bureau is
The Bureau is an investigative service. The Examiner reads public on-chain records and files findings. Nothing on this site is financial advice, an offer, or a solicitation. A verdict of CLEARED is not an endorsement; a verdict of RUG is a record of evidence, not a court ruling.
2. Your wallet
Access is provided through Privy. A Bureau wallet is created for you on login. The Bureau is non-custodial: we do not store private keys and cannot move your funds. You may export your key at any time from your Personnel file. Losing access to your login method may mean losing access to the wallet.
3. Payments
Opening a case and purchasing message packs are paid by on-chain transfer from your Bureau wallet, in SOL or $BUREAU as offered. Payments are verified on-chain before service is rendered. On-chain payments are final; the Bureau does not issue refunds for filings already entered into the record.
4. Public record
Cases and their transcripts are filed in the public Card Catalog. Do not submit information you are not prepared to see shelved.
5. No guarantees
The Bureau investigates on a best-effort basis. On-chain data may be incomplete, delayed, or misleading by design. The Bureau files what it finds.
